On-line Surgery
with Cllr Max Hunt

I am always ready to take up issues or respond to questions about County Council or Borough Council matters. My area within Loughborough is the Ashby Road Estate, University Campus, Thorpe Acre, Booth Wood and Mount Grace Road. If you live in a different area, your Council will tell you the name of the relevant person for you. All you need do is mail me on max.hunt @ leics.gov.uk with details of the matter which concerns you.
It would be helpful if you would include:
  1. Your name, address and telephone number, and the best times to get you.
  2. Whether it is a confidential matter (or whether for example you have also informed the press or other people in the community.
  3. Details of the issue which concerns you, of course.
  4. The dates and names of anyone at the Council you spoke to about this. If it is a Council Tax, Planning or Benefit matter the relevant reference numbers are valuable.
  5. How urgent the matter is.
I usually look at my mail every day. However if you prefer to phone, call me on (01509) 217283. The best time to reach me is between 9pm and 10pm (not later), or between 8am and 8.30am. At weekends at any sociable hour.

County Council issues include: Child Protection, Social Care, Libraries, Museums, Transport, Waste Disposal, Mineral extraction, Country Parks and Strategic Planning.
Borough Council issues concern: Housing, Planning, Street Cleaning, Parks & Leisure, Waste collection and recycling and Council Tax billing
